With the arrival of next generation consoles comes more processing power and memory… and with that, a whole lot more possibilities. Take an exclusive look behind the scenes of this Playstation 4 launch title and learn more about some of the engines new tech like Position Based Dynamics, Force Fields and Volumetric Lighting. Marijn Giesbertz
Marijn (pronounced Ma-Ryan) is Lead Visual Effects Artist at Guerrilla Games Amsterdam. Having an interest in computer graphics and games ever since the C64 days, in 1999 he started his career working on CG for television commercials. Marijn has always had a great passion for videogames and after 7 years of post-production he decided it was time for a new challenge and joined Guerrilla Games to work on their Killzone games. Today, 3 games and 8 years later he’s currently working on a new unannounced IP for the Playstation 4.
